What To Expect On Carpet Cleaning Day.

For a great cleaning experience, we encourage our customers to follow our recommendations below:

Preparation

The customer should:

  • Remove small furniture and items from the carpeted areas.
  • Secure fragile and valuable items in a safe place.
  • Vacuum the carpet to remove loose dirt and debris.
 

The My Fresh Carpet cleaning team will do a walk through with the customer prior to carpet cleaning.

Arrival of Cleaning Team

  • Please make sure any pets are secure and away from the carpet area to be cleaned.
  • Expect the cleaning team to arrive at the scheduled time.
  • We typically wear branded uniforms.

Assessment

  • The cleaning team will inspect the carpet and discuss any specific concerns.
  • We typically wear branded uniforms.
 

Furniture Moving

  • Larger furniture like beds or dressers should be moved by the customer. We clean only under areas where our equipment can reach or clean around them. We do not want to be responsible for damaging furniture in an event of moving things for customers.

Drying Time

  • Carpets may be damp for several hours after cleaning depending on humidity of the room.
  • Adequate ventilation and possibly fans are recommended to speed up drying.
  • Avoid heavy foot traffic on the carpet until it is completely dry.

Post-Cleaning Time

  • The team will review the cleaned areas with you.
  • Customer can replace furniture like chairs to its original place once carpet is dry. 
  • The team will address any concerns with the customer before they leave. Note: We do not guarantee that all stains can be removed. 
  • We will get the customer to sign off that all areas were cleaned and furniture have no damage.

Payment

  • At the end of the cleaning, we have a mobile point of sale terminal for fast and prompt payments. We accept Debit Interac, Visa and Mastercard.

Aftercare

  • Avoid walking on the carpet with dirty shoes.
  • Regular vacuuming to maintain cleanliness.
  • Schedule periodic professional cleanings for optimal carpet lifespan.
